Emma Raducanu made it to the third stage in three Grand Slam tournaments Grand Slams during the season.

The British tennis star Emma Raducanu will not compete in her final two events in 2025 due to a health issue she has been battling in recent days.

Raducanu, aged 22 was scheduled to compete in Tokyo and Hong Kong but has decided to fly home to recover before starting her preparations for 2026.

Her upcoming training will involve trainer Francisco Roig, as they will keep partnering again next season.

The tennis professional underwent blood pressure monitoring during her first-round match with Ann Li in the Wuhan tournament and withdrew when behind 6-1 4-1 on a very muggy occasion.

Another medical visit was necessary a visit from the doctor at the recent Ningbo Open, where she was defeated in three sets to Zhu Lin, a Chinese wildcard in the first round.

She was also playing far from freely in the deciding set versus Zhu due to a lower back issue that has been a concern at times this year.

Such performances followed a positive campaign, in which Raducanu rose into the international top 30 after more than three years in more than three years, ended with three successive defeats.

Raducanu had three match points prior to falling to American player Jessica Pegula in round three in Beijing last month.

Raducanu won 28 matches during 2025 and made it to the semi-final round in Washington, but her most impressive week was at the Miami event in March.

Roig joined her in New York, where she made the third stage prior to losing to 2022 Wimbledon champion Elena Rybakina.
