A American-Palestinian teenager who spent nine months in imprisonment by Israel without charge has been freed.

The teenager Mohammed Ibrahim had just turned 15 when he was arrested last February within the occupied West Bank, where he was visiting from his Florida home accused of stone-throwing toward Israeli settlers, claims he consistently denied.

The US state department expressed satisfaction with Mohammed's liberation.

Now sixteen years old, was taken to hospital upon gaining freedom, family members reported.

According to them, he appears pale, underweight, while battling health issues developed during imprisonment.

In a statement, Mohammed's uncle spoke of the family's "overwhelming sense of relief".

Zeyad Kadur described how relatives endured "enduring a dreadful, continuous nightmare" over the last nine months.

"At this moment, we are focused on getting Mohammed prompt healthcare he requires after experiencing mistreatment by authorities and inhumane conditions throughout his detention."

American authorities said it would continue to offer diplomatic assistance for the Ibrahim family.

{"The Trump Administration gives utmost importance to the protection and welfare of American nationals"," it added.

Twenty-seven US lawmakers endorsed a document to US authorities and the White House, demanding more be done to secure his release.

The father, a father-of-four operating an ice cream shop based in Tampa, previously claimed his child admitted guilt about rock throwing because the soldiers beat him.

The father hadn't visited nor direct contact following the detention, learning information solely regarding the treatment in detention through court documents.

Mohammed was held lacking indictment in Ofer prison in the West Bank.

It is also home to grown detainees, featuring prisoners sentenced of serious terrorism offences and murder.

An estimated 350 Palestinian child security detainees detained within Israeli facilities, based on prison authority data.

Many have never been charged along with monitoring agencies, including UN bodies, report instances of abuse and torture.

After the teenager's freedom, the uncle stated they would maintain their efforts for justice for his cousin Sayfollah Musallet.

The 20-year-old dual US citizen per medical officials was beaten to death by radical settlers amid clashes last July.

Initially, the Israeli military said authorities were looking into reports a Palestinian civilian was deceased.

Mohammed and Sayfollah were employed together at their family's ice cream business based in Florida.

No indictments occurred for the cousin's murder.

"We anticipate US authorities to ensure our family's safety," Mr Kadur said.
